Becca is an Educational Therapist/ Professional who holds a Masters degree in Special Education and Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University. She is a trained practitioner in Wilson Just Words Program, SMARTS Executive Functioning Curriculum, and the Jane Schaffer Writing Program. Becca has guided struggling students toward success, helping them achieve significant improvements in their literacy levels and executive functioning skills. Becca began her teaching career at a charter school in Los Angeles where she gained extensive experience working with both Elementary and Middle School students, becoming proficient in the 504 and IEP processes. After completing her educational therapy coursework at UC Riverside, she decided to focus her career in educational therapy. 

Becca strongly believes in the power of collaboration with teachers and all members of the student success team to ensure the best student support. Becca's background as a kids' yoga instructor provides her with valuable tools to teach mindfulness strategies to her students, allowing them to approach their learning with greater focus and resilience. Additionally, she draws on her background in art to inspire creativity and enhance the learning experience for her students. She is deeply committed to providing every student with the opportunity and tools to learn in a way that suits them best. When not teaching, Becca enjoys watching movies, hiking with her beloved dog Teddi, reading, and swimming.
